My Story
Hi! Thanks for visiting my website. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was born in Canada and lived there for a large chunk of my life. I spent a few years in the UK and then moved to the US where I began making pottery. I've always been interested in art which is a little weird given I'm a CPA. I think it must be in my genes as my mother is a gifted artist as are many of my extended family. Pottery works for my accountant brain because it can be a rather precise craft.
I started my journey at a pottery school that was close to where I lived in Maryland. Jerry Beaumont is a truly gifted and talented man and his love of ceramics created an environment where students of the craft could explore and grow. I spent years in and out of the pottery sphere and since I moved to Arizona I decided to start my own studio and see what I could create.

My work is utilitarian in nature. I want people to use it...touch it...eat off it...drink out of It. Interaction with what I make is key. I love the outdoors. I love to cook. I also love a good glass of scotch (or wine) and a cigar. Much of my work is centered around those things. Look around...email me with questions...let me make something for you to love.
